Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta – “Spiral in the Sky”

One of the challenges at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is isolating the balloons for a clean organized shot. There are just so many balloons in the air at one time. After you find that clean shot, the next challenge is having the patience to wait and anticipate an interesting arrangement of the balloons. In this image, I captured a spiral formation. It seems simple, but I was absolutely giddy after I captured the shot, and could not wait to get back to my computer to process it.
