Another fine art photograph from Dee Zunker has been selected by Juror D.M. Allison, owner of the D M Allison Gallery into VAA’s 33rd Juried Open Exhibition.
The Visual Arts Alliance 33rd Juried Open Exhibition will open on Wednesday, June 15, with a reception from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and awards announced at 7:00 PM. The Exhibition will be held at BLUEorange Contemporary Art Gallery, 1208 West Gray St. Map
“Alley #1” will be on view until Sunday, July 3, 2016 along with 55 other selected works from a total of 540 submitted.
“Alley #1″ is part of a new series where I start with an interesting street scene, and add or remove elements to create an overall sense of uneasiness. This image is a combination of images from Chicago. It is printed on 20″ x 20” aluminum with a satin finish, and is available for $325.
I will be discussing my overall process for developing this piece at an artist talk on June 18 between 2-4pm at the BLUEOrange Gallery.
